Aisha

I never know what to say when I am suppose to talk about myself. I'm average in the most amazing way possible. I am a walking contradiction.

I will be a senior this next fall at BYU-Idaho. I am studying political science, its not as impressive as it sounds. I enjoy talking about social issues and I love hearing people's opinion. I am not sure what I exactly what I want to do with my degree but, I want to love what I do. I want to serve people around me and leave the world a better place than I found it.

I have an awesome family. I come from a blended family so I am so lucky to have four parents who nag me with unconditional love. I have 5 younger siblings who are a lot cooler than me, most of the time. My youngest brother, Kai, is the funniest kid I know.

I am from Snohomish, Washington, it is about 45 minutes north of Seattle. I love being from the Seattle area! I love the weather, I love the culture, I love the beauty. I just love it all. I want to stay in the west for the rest of my life. I did spend some of my childhood in Georgia, so sometimes I like to claim the south.

From September 2011 to March 2013 I served a full time mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in the Florida Orlando Mission.
As a missionary, I had the opportunity to talk to people about Jesus Christ and His love for them. I met so many amazing people. In those 18 months where I was able to forget about myself and focus on others.

Alaska Cruise

In 2011 I went on a cruise to Alaska with my mom before my mission. It was hands down the most fun I have ever had. I loved being with my mom and enjoying all the beauty Alaska had to offer. I knew I wanted to go back and I am grateful for the chance I have to be working there and be with my best friend, Ashley!

Things I love:
reading, sushi, pandas, puppies, postcards, traveling the United States, LDS temples, planning parties, GOOD food, fountain drinks, netflix, road trips, dancing like a mad woman, rain, brushing my teeth, froyo, autumn, football, making lists, TED talks, Disney movies, creating things, and the list goes on.

Things I dislike:
bad table manners, beef jerky, wet socks, rude people, nickleback, close minded people
